The first article is very interesting. It uses scientific information to prove that playing video games can cause a child to imitate what they see on the television screen. I agree with the authors standpoint. Many children seem to imitate what they view as cool or fun. Some people even blame major events in U.S. history such as Columbine. The article uses proof such as " mean world syndrome" which occurs when one is surrounded by violence, the person surrounded by the violence tends to mimic their surroundings. I personally believe this occurs more than we think in our everyday lives. I agree with the author. Many of the violent video games are unethical and should be banned from kids whom brains are still developing.

The second article is very assumptive which makes me want to disagree with the author. The authors picks apart video games such as Mario. We all know the game was made for children to enjoy however, the authors believes the game was made as a psychedelic symbol. The author then goes on to back up his unethical point with far fetch ideas. I believe this article is unethical with its data and standpoint. The author took harmless video games and gave one a different viewpoint towards the game.
